The business travel market is expected to reach $2.1 trillion by 2031, according to a latest report by Allied Market Research. The research firm stated that this growth will be driven by trends such as bleisure travel, IoT, smart hotels, virtual reality, and personalised services. These trends are expected to boost both the food and lodging sectors and the overall business travel market. “Other factors such as robotics technology will also play a key role in attracting hotel guests by performing tasks such as greeting, providing information, handling luggage, cleaning, and possibly even serving food,” AMR noted.
