MK Stalin, Chief Minister, Tamil Nadu will lay the foundation stone of Kalaignar International Convention Centre in Muttukadu, Tamil Nadu. The project will begin in mid-April. Spread over 37.49 acres, the property will house infra facilities suited to host conferences, exhibitions and large-scale events. It would have an exhibition hall that would accommodate 10,000 people. The centre would also feature a convention hall with seating capacity for 5,000 people and another auditorium with 2,000 seating capacity spread over two floors. Besides parking space for 1,700 vehicles, the centre would also have amenities for uninterrupted power supply and other facilities including dining area, cafeteria and VIP lounge.
