The Ministry of Tourism (MoT), Government of India, and various stakeholders, including prominent convention centres, hotel chains, IRCTC, and India Convention Promotion Bureau, participated in the Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event (AIME) in Melbourne, Australia. The Incredible Indian pavilion showcased India’s new convention centres, including Bharat Mandapam and Yashobhoomi. The MoT delegation interacted with high-profile opinion leaders and decision-makers to reiterate India’s strengths as a M!CE destination. The Ministry has prioritised M!CE as a niche sector to overcome seasonality challenges and project India as a 365-day destination.
