According to Trip.Biz’s newly released Corporate Travel Management Market White Paper, international business travel is witnessing notable shifts in traveller preferences. Accommodations are gaining importance, with flexibility, efficiency, a quiet environment, and safety being top priorities. Mid-range to high-end hotels are preferred. Bleisure travel is also on the rise, with 95 per cent of business travellers in 2023 expressing a willingness to combine business and leisure activities. However, challenges such as rising costs of flights, hotels, and travel services, along with issues related to accommodation conditions, sleep quality, and long transport times, present difficulties for companies.
