Kerala, long renowned as a global holiday destination, is setting its sights on new horizons. At Kerala Travel Mart, Kerala’s Tourism Minister PA Mohamed Riyas declared the state’s ambition to become South Asia’s premier hub for MICE tourism and destination weddings. Riyas said, “Kerala has for long been celebrated as a favourite holiday destination worldwide. We now seek to emerge as the leading choice for MICE, along with destination weddings. The state has potential to emerge as South Asia’s hub in both segments.”
