The Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) anticipates the revival of the business travel sector by 2024 with an estimated 23.2 million travellers. The agency plans to stimulate international exhibitions, major events, and festivals, while incentivising domestic M!CE to offset risks from uncontrollable factors. According to Chiruit Isarangkun Na Ayuthaya, President, TCEB, the organization’s plan to revive business travel would be centred on promoting international exhibits, significant events, and festivals—all of which have shown signs of explosive development. In contrast, domestic MICE have taken longer to recover.
