India stood at eighth place in the top 15 markets in total business travel spending, according to the 2024 Business Travel Index Outlook report released by the Global Business Travel Association. Indians spent over US$38.3 in business travel in 2023. The country’s rate of annual travel spends stood at 22 per cent, the second highest after South Korea, whose travel spend stood at 27 per cent.
