Spain has reinforced its global meetings-tourism prominence, ranking third worldwide for hosting maximum international congresses in 2024, as per ICCA. With 57 cities listed in the global rankings, its MICE strength is widely distributed. Barcelona leads with 142 international congresses hosted in 2024, followed by Madrid with 105 and Valencia with 51. Other strong contributors include Bilbao, Seville, Málaga, Granada, San Sebastián and Palma de Mallorca, highlighting Spain’s diversified congress ecosystem.
