SATTE has introduced an AI-powered Visitor & Buyer Qualification Framework, becoming among the first travel trade exhibitions in India to adopt artificial intelligence for visitor qualification and business matchmaking. The initiative aims to improve buyer quality, facilitate meaningful business connections, and deliver stronger commercial outcomes for exhibitors across the travel ecosystem.

Organised by Informa Markets in India, SATTE announced the new framework ahead of its 34th edition, reinforcing its focus on creating a more intelligent and data-driven business platform for the travel and tourism industry.
The AI-powered capability analyses visitor profiles to better understand business relevance and buyer intent, enabling exhibitors to engage with more qualified buyers and participate in more productive business meetings. The initiative reflects a growing shift within the business events sector, where exhibitors are placing greater emphasis on the quality of business interactions rather than overall visitor numbers.
Integrated with SATTE 365, the framework extends engagement beyond the exhibition by supporting year-round networking, continuous relationship building, and stronger collaboration across the travel trade. The platform is designed to help exhibitors identify relevant business opportunities while delivering a more personalised experience for buyers and visitors. According to the organisers, the initiative is intended to strengthen buyer relevance, improve business matchmaking, and maximise the value exhibitors derive before, during, and after the exhibition.
Pallavi Mehra, Senior Group Director, Informa Markets in India, said, “For over three decades, SATTE has connected the global travel industry with the Indian market. As our industry evolves, our responsibility is to continuously enhance the value we deliver to exhibitors and buyers. This AI-powered initiative reflects our commitment to creating a smarter marketplace where every business interaction is more relevant, more meaningful, and more valuable.”
As SATTE enters its 34th year, the exhibition continues to expand its technology-led approach to business networking and industry engagement. The introduction of AI-powered visitor intelligence marks another step in its efforts to create a more efficient marketplace that supports exhibitors with higher-quality business opportunities and enables buyers to connect with relevant partners throughout the year.
