Weddings are another key focus segment for Singapore, alongside luxury and MICE. In June, Resorts World Sentosa in Singapore set the stage for an Indian destination wedding, welcoming 500 guests from Hyderabad. The five-day celebration unfolded across the resort’s venues, with the main ceremony held at its convention centre and the reception at the luxurious Equarius Hotel & Villas. Markus Tan, Regional Director (India, Middle East, South Asia and Africa), Singapore Tourism Board, said, “RWS is now actively collaborating with Indian wedding planners to bring more such celebrations to Singapore, highlighting the destination’s readiness to cater to every detail—from traditional fire rituals to customised culinary experiences.”
