Pier One Sydney Harbour is setting a new standard for corporate events, unveiling refreshed Day Delegate Packages (DDPs) that showcase Sydney’s most-loved food icons and interactive catering experiences. At the same time, the hotel continues to champion holistic workplace wellbeing with its much-loved pup-friendly meeting option, ensuring delegates leave nourished in every sense.

Local Icons and Interactive Menus
Food has always been central to connection, and now Pier One Sydney Harbour is taking it further by partnering with Butter Boy Cookies, The Bread & Butter Project, Brooklyn Boy Bagels, Tokyo Lamington, and more. The result is innovative catering that delivers a Taste of Sydney: authentic, local, and designed to spark conversation.

Interactive food stations such as build-your-own Pulled Chicken Banh Mi or Pulled Pork Bao, alongside handmade products from beloved Sydney artisans, ensure catering is as memorable as the meetings themselves. These touches bring an element of creativity and joy into meetings, transforming catering from a necessity into a highlight.

Kim Mahaffy, General Manager, Pier One Sydney Harbour, states, “Our Taste of Sydney partnerships are about more than menus; they’re about creating moments that connect delegates to the city. By collaborating with the incredible makers who give Sydney its flavour, we’ve designed catering that feels fresh, interactive, and uniquely Sydney.”

Four-Legged Wellness
Developed in partnership with RSPCA NSW, Pier One Sydney Harbour’s pup-friendly meetings have become a hallmark of its corporate offering, giving organisers the option to include four-legged colleagues in their events. Available on request across the hotel’s 10 indoor and outdoor spaces, each experience is tailored to the group, with thoughtful amenities such as a two-course plated lunch menu, pup treats, take-home bone toys and blankets ensuring dogs feel just as welcome as delegates.

According to research conducted at Washington State University, even 10 minutes spent with a pet can significantly reduce stress and cortisol, while their presence in the workplace has been linked to increased serotonin and dopamine levels, greater satisfaction, improved engagement, and stronger collaboration (ScienceDaily, 2019; Harvard Business Review, 2023). In fact, employees who bring their dogs to the workplace report up to 22% higher satisfaction with their working conditions (Nestle, 2019). Recognising the wellbeing benefits that pets bring to the workplace, Pier One Sydney Harbour continues to position itself as a leader in creating holistic, people-first corporate experiences.

Sustainability and Community at the Core
Pier One Sydney Harbour’s event philosophy also champions community and responsibility. By partnering with socially responsible businesses like The Bread & Butter Project – which trains refugees and asylum seekers to become artisan bakers – Pier One Sydney Harbour ensures every event supports Sydney’s people and culture.

Harbourfront Backdrop for Inspiration
With 10 versatile event spaces set directly over the water at Dawes Point, Pier One Sydney Harbour offers an inspiring setting for corporate events, conferences, and executive retreats, all framed by panoramic views of Sydney Harbour. The result is a complete package that delivers on both culinary innovation and memorable experiences for delegates.
