Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) has launched a capacity-building programme for the Asia Pacific tourism sector, titled “Macao MICE Forward: Innovate, Sustain, Excel – Smart Solutions Training for Sustainable MICE”. The programme will be implemented in Macao, China. PATA has been developing resources, tools, and capacity-building programmes to support the Asia Pacific tourism industry, including the Tourism Destination Resilience programme for destinations, the Finance and Digital Skills programme for tourism SMEs, and the Informal Workers Programme.
