The Network of Indian MICE Agents (NIMA) is focusing on the standardisation of contracts and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure that small and mid-sized operators can compete on equal footing with large corporations.
“The association exists to bring equality to the ecosystem, particularly for those beyond metropolitan hubs. NIMA’s principle objective is to bring small and mid-sized agents from tier-2 and tier-3 cities as capable or as compatible as any large agency,” Dr Nitin Mittal, National Coordinator, NIMA, stated.
Through intensive networking and knowledge-sharing platforms, NIMA is bridging the gap for regional players, which will create a massive opportunity for small and mid-sized operators to scale their professional service capabilities and grow India’s MICE market from $49 billion in 2024 to $100 billion by 2030.
