“It’s a welcomed step for the country because, at some point in time, we have to showcase the country as one of the biggest and largest MICE destinations available in the world. The G20 Summit is a step in the right direction and I’m proud that you know we have the G20 presidency for the year 2023. It will be one of the best ways to promote and push Indian tourism in the global market.” said Naveen Kundu, MD, EbixCash
India is expected to host over 200 meetings across the country during its one-year presidency that invites the Heads of State/ Government from 19 countries. Collectively, the G20 countries account for 85% of the global GDP and 75% of international trade, making it the premier forum for India to showcase its capabilities as a major event holder and put India at the forefront as a MICE destination for businesses all over the world.
