KINTEX and Yashobhoomi: Boosting Korea-India MICE

KINTEX’s Yashobhoomi Roadshow in Korea has solidified a 20-year strategic partnership to manage South Asia’s largest exhibition centre. The event focused on leveraging Korean operational expertise to boost India’s massive MICE infrastructure projects. The roadshow, held on 25 March 2026, brought together a high-level Indian delegation and KINTEX officials to benchmark facility standards for Yashobhoomi’s upcoming second construction phase. Discussions also explored diversifying ancillary businesses, such as Foodlink’s involvement in exhibition catering. KINTEX CEO Lee Min-woo emphasized that managing this flagship project of Prime Minister Modi proves Korea’s global venue capabilities. By hosting major events like the Korea Industry Exhibition (KoINDEX), the partnership continues to act as a vital economic and cultural bridge, helping SMEs penetrate the thriving South Asian market through Yashobhoomi’s world-class facilities.
