A new M!CE centre is slated to come up in Jodhpur. A corpus of ₹25 crore has been announced by Rajasthan’s CM Ashok Gehlot for the centre. This state-of-the-art facility will occupy 5,650 square meters on the grounds of Women Polytechnic College, with a generous 65,000 square meters allocated by the Jodhpur Development Authority. In its first phase, the centre will feature an exhibition hall, registration and information centre, administration block, VIP lounge, trade and business meeting spaces, and a parking area. In the 2023-24 Budget, Gehlot revealed plans for the construction of world-class M!CE centres catering to international-level conventions and exhibitions in destinations such as Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur and Ajmer.
