According to the VIDEC India Corporate Travel Report, the business travel is projected to grow at 11 per cent CAGR, reaching US$ 20.3 billion by FY27. Interestingly, this growth is being fuelled not just by large metros, but also by tier II and III cities, as regional offices and client bases expand. Women now make up nearly 16 per cent of India’s corporate flyers, led by metros like Mumbai (19 per cent) and Delhi (18 per cent), signalling the need for more gender-sensitive travel policies.
