Amitabh Kant, G-20 Sherpa of India, commented that India must position itself as a global hub for MICE. “India possesses a largely untapped MICE market. The development of world-class venues like Yashobhoomi and Bharat Mandapam pushes India to capitalise on the potential of hosting mega global events. To fully realise the opportunity, India must attract prestigious international gatherings to its leading venues. Yashobhoomi, designed as the world’s largest and most advanced convention centre surpasses comparable facilities. These world-class resources enable India to attract the world’s largest MICE events,” added Kant.
