Cebu reinforced its MICE positioning with the launch of the Cebu MICE Guidebook at ATF TRAVEX in Mactan. Designed for international planners, the guidebook highlights nearly 300 MICE suppliers. Christina Garcia Frasco, Secretary, Department of Tourism Philippines, said, “We launched the Cebu MICE Guide, the province’s first comprehensive MICE reference, developed by the Cebu MICE Alliance with the support of the Department of Tourism. The guide consolidates Cebu’s MICE-ready venues, accommodations, destination experiences, service providers, and support infrastructure into one practical resource for planners and organisers. Cebu’s strength as a MICE destination lies in the depth and balance of what it offers, anchored by strong connectivity, quality venues, and the warm Filipino hospitality of its people that consistently turns events into meaningful experiences. Through this initiative, we strengthen Cebu’s readiness to host high-quality international MICE events and reinforce its role as a key driver of tourism-led growth.”
