Business travel agencies set to skyrocket tech investment

According to recent research by Amadeus, business travel agencies (BTAs) anticipate boosting their technology investment by an average of 13 per cent in the next year. Approximately 69 per cent of BTAs intend to increase their investment in technology compared to the previous twelve months. The research also revealed an increasing interest in automation among BTAs as the industry endeavours to minimise manual tasks.
One-third of agencies are slated to integrate Robotic Process Automation (RPA) into their operations this year.
