Building on the success of its 2025 edition, South Asia’s Travel & Tourism Exchange (SATTE) brought together key partners and industry stakeholders for an exclusive dialogue focused on future strategy. The session reviewed performance benchmarks, incorporated exhibitor and visitor feedback, and outlined priorities shaping the 2026 edition.

SATTE 2025 marked the exhibition’s strongest performance to date, welcoming 40,000 visitors and more than 2,000 exhibitors at the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre. Stakeholders highlighted the scale, international participation and operational efficiency as indicators of the exhibition’s growing relevance within the global travel and tourism ecosystem.

A key focus of the discussion was Yashobhoomi’s enhanced digital infrastructure, which supported seamless connectivity, improved navigation and stronger engagement across the venue. Infrastructure and IT teams attributed the experience to upgraded systems and new collaborations with internet service providers, which delivered uninterrupted high-speed access and improved delegate interaction throughout the show floor.

With 24.6 per cent year-on-year growth, SATTE has further consolidated its position as South Asia’s largest travel and tourism exhibition. Looking ahead, the 2026 edition is projected to attract more than 45,000 attendees, reinforcing its global reach and relevance for the travel trade, MICE industry and business events sector.

Planned enhancements for SATTE 2026 include additional food courts, expanded vending zones and more entry gates, all aimed at improving crowd circulation, reducing congestion and enhancing overall visitor comfort. These upgrades are designed to support both scale and experience as the exhibition continues to grow.

Stakeholders also acknowledged SATTE’s sustained emphasis on inclusivity and its role in empowering small and medium tourism operators by providing access to a world-class platform. Subhash Goyal, Founder & Chairman, STIC Travel Group, said, “SATTE remains the only travel show of its scale in India that parallels global events like WTM or ITB. Its strength lies in supporting tourism operators who cannot afford overseas exhibitions and can participate at SATTE in a very economical manner.”

As preparations begin for a more collaborative and technology-driven 2026 edition, SATTE continues to play a central role in shaping travel trade networking, business engagement and industry innovation across South Asia.
