Speaking at TamilNadu Travel Expo 2025, Vikram Cotah, Independent Director, Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation (TTDC), stated that TTDC and the state government is encouraging private investment for the infra development in the state through a PPP model to boost wedding tourism. It is offering incentives such as land allotments, long-term leases of old hotels, and capital subsidies. “We are working closely with the government to facilitate private investments so that Tamil Nadu can emerge as a leading hub for wedding tourism,” he noted.
