As per GS Shekhawat, Minister of Tourism, GoI, India has potential to become a leader in MICE sector due to the robust infrastructure in cities like Delhi and Mumbai. He said, “India needs discussions on how it can position itself as a global MICE destination.” This includes scheduling and attracting several global events to the country, which would enhance India’s reputation as a world-class MICE hub.
