The Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) Foundation has released findings from its Sustainability Acceleration Challenge, a global benchmarking initiative to evaluate the current state of business travel programs and the actions taken by organizations to decarbonise them. The findings suggest that organizations need to accelerate the integration of practices to reduce their business travel emissions in line with corporate Net Zero targets by 2050. The Challenge, funded by the GBTA Foundation’s Sustainability Partners, aims to mobilise organisations of all sizes and geographies to start, advance, and accelerate the integration of practices to reduce business travel emissions.
