Himanta Biswa Sarma, Chief Minister, Assam unveiled a convention centre at Chinnamara in Jorhat. The centre is built at a cost of ₹19.98 crore. It has a built-up area of 3,118 sq. metres with a seating capacity for 120 people. The Minister also launched a two-lane railway flyover in Jorhat. Sarma started three new projects worth ₹110.75 crore in Jorhat recently.
