The Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC), in collaboration with the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), has launched the GSTC M!CE Criteria aimed at promoting sustainable practices within the M!CE industry. These guidelines aim to address the pressing need for sustainability amidst the industry’s expansion. Tailored for venues, event organisers, and events and exhibitions, the criteria focus on fostering sustainable management and considering socio-economic, cultural, and environmental impacts.
